Tap and tie connection design of an existing 500kV circuit into a new substation facility located at a Nuclear Plant facility. Close coordination with the plant owner/operator, as well as compliance with advanced standards and practices for nuclear plant operation. Subsequent phases included the design of five (5) new circuits ranging from 69kV to 230kV.
Owner’s Engineering and Quality Assurance/Quality Control services for the rebuild of an existing 69kV, 11-mile overhead circuit between two substations. A large portion of the circuit was designed to support distribution underbuild, as well as various third-party attachments. A portion of the rebuild was designed as double-circuit to support an adjacent 69kV circuit.
Engineering and Construction Management support for the performance of foundation testing activities for three (3) 230kV lattice tower transmission circuits. Work included energized climbing inspections, foundation testing, and foundation mapping.
Transmission line design for the interconnection of twelve (12) 138kV circuits in accordance with all applicable client, RUS, and industry standards for a new switching station.
